I love mahogany. It's stunning but sometimes it feels a little too stiff. I have been brainstorming some ideas for a mahogany lover to break it up and create a semi-formal dining space. Currently, I am in the middle of thinking through a dining room for a client and here are some ideas we are having. Any thoughts?
Maybe these super-brown rooms worked better for past generations because they had more access to wallpaper and fabrics.
My client loves oval tables and particularly ones which can be big or small when not in use. I never knew oval isn't easy to find. But it sure is a lovely shape!
