Fun Trends in Upholstery

It's all about colors and patterns this season. And not just any color or pattern - but those which subtly brighten up a room. Here's what we mean:

Notice how the Eliza Mid-Century sofa subtly ties together this navy/white themed living room. Its plush texture and gorgeous blue-green color ground the patterned chairs and artwork. Also notice how the red end tables serve to offset the dominant shade of blue. If red is not your thing, a hint of yellow would also provide an elegant contrast. For instance, imagine replacing the two blue chairs with trendy (but classic) swivel chairs:
